SET is a genius game with such mind-bogglingly simple concept. Twelve cards are put face down and players look for sets, the first to see one shouts, “set” and gets points. It is quite tricky to explain what constitutes a “set” of three cards in line with the rules. Let me try.
Each card may have one of three Shapes, Colours, Shadings or Number of shapes. A “set” consists of three cards on which each feature is either the same on all of the cards, or different on all of the cards. Have a look at the photo, it becomes more apparent when you see examples. I have laid down 10 sets for you (one in each corner, row and column). I think there is no point in buying Set Junior to play this game with kids. Just play with the small deck of only the filled symbols.
