The hexagonal hive pieces are all separate so you can play at fitting them together in different shapes and layouts. The tweezers help work on those dexterity, co-ordination and concentration skills – you can stack the pots vertically and practice placing/removing the bees from a sideways angle, or lay them out on a surface and do it vertically. There are lots of little colour-matching games you can make up with this toy, plus we like to turn them over and play “find the bee” or some simple memory games.
